Common dies and semi-finished stock cut weeks off the first order.
A new mould is only needed when the cross-section is new. For the sizes that repeat across orders, we keep the die in the tool room and hold semi-finished extrudate that can be cut to your length, inspected and packed without waiting for a full production slot.
What is kept in stock
- Common dies: 7x4, 8x4, 10x6 and 5x3 mm sections are the sizes ordered most often and stay in the tool room.
- Semi-finished stock: common bore sizes around 6, 8 and 10 mm, ready to cut to length.
- New tooling: 1 to 3 days, from RMB 500 depending on section complexity.

Where a new die is still the better route
If your section differs only slightly from a stock die, we will say so: reusing the die and adjusting the compound is usually cheaper and faster than cutting a new one. When a new die is needed, we quote the tooling cost separately and confirm the sample before mass production.
