Where do your raw materials and reinforcement fibres come from?

Domestic raw materials in stock, reinforcement fibre bought in.

Sourcing decisions are driven by consistency first and cost second. Rubber and plastic raw materials come from domestic suppliers we have qualified over repeated batches, and the common grades are held in stock so a repeat order does not wait on a material delivery.

Reinforcement

Braiding fibre is purchased from qualified suppliers rather than woven in house. That keeps the braid specification, denier and coverage under a supplier we can audit, and it means we can switch braid construction for a customer without investing in weaving equipment we would then have to keep busy.

Customer-supplied material

Occasionally a customer asks to supply their own compound, usually because it is already approved in their system. We can run it, but only after incoming inspection and a trial run, and the material performance responsibility shifts to the supplied batch. Most customers find it simpler to let us mix to the same specification and keep one party accountable.
