What are your size limits and wall-thickness tolerance?

1.5 mm inner diameter up to 110 mm outer diameter. The extruders and dies we run cover everything from thin capillary tubing to hose that is used as a protective sleeve. Below is the range we quote most often; anything at the edges can be checked against existing tooling before you commit to a mould.Range and toleranceInner diameter: from 1.5 mm.Outer diameter: up to 110 mm.Wall thickness and key dimensions: plus or minus 0.5 mm on standard extrusion.Length: continuous coils, or cut to a fixed length on our automatic cutting line.Tubing across the size rangeConsistent bore, batch to batchProfiles to your drawingWhy the tolerance is stated as a numberA tolerance only means something when the measurement method is fixed too. Key dimensions are checked at setup and at intervals during the run, and the inspection report states the gauge used. If your drawing calls for something tighter than plus or minus 0.5 mm, send it over: we will say directly whether the die and the compound can hold it instead of accepting the order and sorting out the scrap later.Next step: Send your ID, OD and tolerance and we will confirm the closest existing die.Related Products & PagesCustom Rubber TubingEPDM Rubber HoseCustom Extruded Profiles

Can you supply food-grade, flame-retardant and RoHS-compliant grades?

Food-grade, flame-retardant and RoHS grades are all available.Compliance requirements differ by market, so we start from the end use rather than from a single grade. Tell us the standard you need to meet and the medium the part touches, and we will propose the compound and the documentation that goes with it.Food contactFood-grade silicone tubing is extruded from platinum-cured silicone and can be supplied to FDA and LFGB requirements. It is used for beverage, coffee-machine and appliance lines where taste and odour transfer matter, and it stays flexible across the normal service temperature range.Flame retardancy and environmental complianceFlame-retardant series can reach UL-94 V0, and our flame-retardant CR hose is rated for roughly -40 °C to +250 °C. Materials are checked against the EU RoHS directive, and REACH declarations are available. Certificates and test reports are issued per batch on request, not as a one-off marketing document.Food-grade silicone and EPDM gradesFlame-retardant and foam profilesCompounds matched to the standardNext step: Tell us the standard and medium, and we will confirm the grade and documents.Related Products & PagesRubber Quality Control & LabCustom Silicone Rubber HoseCustom Extruded Profiles

What is the difference between solid and sponge rubber profiles?

Solid profiles carry load; sponge profiles seal with less force. Both solid and sponge (foam) rubber profiles are extruded on the same production lines, but the compound and curing process are adjusted to give very different mechanical properties. Choosing the right type depends on your sealing gap, closure force and environmental exposure.01 Hero Banner41 Hero Pure White51 Core Performance04 Size GuideSolid rubber profilesDense, durable and strong. Solid profiles are used where the seal must support weight, resist cutting or maintain a precise shape. Typical applications include anti-collision strips, heavy-duty gaskets and wear pads.Sponge / foam rubber profilesClosed-cell or open-cell sponge is much lighter and compresses easily. It is ideal for door seals, enclosure gaskets and appliance seals where a small closing force must fill an uneven gap. We can control density, hardness and cell structure to match your water, dust or noise requirements.Next step: Send us your gap dimensions and compression requirements and we will recommend the right profile type.Related Products & PagesRubber Extruded Profiles & Sealing StripsEPDM Sponge Rubber Extrusion ProfileSolid Foam Rubber Profile StripCustom EPDM Rubber Sealing Strip

Do you produce braided and reinforced rubber hoses?

Yes — braiding and reinforcement are core capabilities. We produce polyester-braided rubber hoses and middle-layer fibre-reinforced hoses for applications that need abrasion protection, kink resistance and shape retention. Our braiding workshop covers polyester, polypropylene and other composite reinforcements.Braided hose structureReinforced multi-layer wallHose dimension guideBraid density detailWhen to choose braided or reinforced hoseChoose braided hose when the tube is exposed to movement, vibration or external wear. Choose middle-fibre-reinforced hose when the tube must keep its shape under load or resist kinking on a tight bend radius. Our engineering team can match the reinforcement type and braid density to your bend radius, abrasion and coupling requirements.Sizes and end fittingsCommon inner diameters range from 3 mm to 50 mm, with wall thickness, length and colour customizable. We can also support OEM assemblies with moulded fittings, clamps and quick-connects upon request. Steel-wire braided hose and large-diameter industrial hose are outside our scope.Next step: Get a quote for your braided or reinforced hose project.Related Products & PagesCustom Rubber TubingEPDM Rubber Hose (Kink Resistant)Silicone Rubber Hose for Industrial SealingMulti-Color Flexible Silicone Hoses

What rubber materials can RESRUB extrude?

We extrude a wide range of rubber and plastic elastomers. Our factory works with EPDM, silicone, NBR, CR, IIR, FKM, PVC and TPE/TPR/TPV — with silicone tubing, EPDM hose and TPV sealing strip as our three core product lines. This lets us match material to temperature, chemical exposure, hardness, color and cost requirements rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all choice.Material gradesCompound engineeringExtruded rubber profilesColour optionsCommon materials and their best usesEPDM is the workhorse for outdoor hoses, seals and coolant lines because of its water, ozone and UV resistance. Silicone handles extreme temperatures (-60°C to 200°C+) and is ideal for food-contact or medical tubing. NBR offers excellent oil and fuel resistance. PVC and TPE/TPR/TPV provide lower-cost, recyclable options for appliance seals and grips. FKM is used when aggressive chemicals or very high heat are involved.Material selection supportIf you are unsure which polymer fits your product, send us your drawing, target application and operating conditions. Our engineers can recommend the right compound, hardness (Shore A 20–90) and color, and we can produce small test samples for validation before volume production.Next step: Need help choosing a material? Are all dishwasher seals the same?

No - most dishwashers use two different door sealsMost types of dishwasher have two door seals: a three-sided upper door seal, and a lower door seal that runs along the bottom of the door. Two common dishwasher seals Upper door seal - three-sided, runs around the top and sides of the door. Lower door seal - runs along the bottom edge of the door.Seal sizes and profiles differ by brand and model. How to choose suitable rubber materials?

Choose rubber materials by three key factorsThe right rubber material depends on working temperature, chemical resistance, and physical properties.Selection guide Working temperature - EPDM suits high temperature and severe cold; NBR suits oil-resistant environments. Chemical resistance - for oil or acid/alkali resistance, choose NBR or FKM. Physical properties - for abrasion and weather resistance, CR and EPDM cover most mechanical and outdoor applications. Not sure which material?
